Greenpool Capital has received unanimous approval by the Metro Inner Development Assessment Panel (MIDAP) for the first stage of redevelopment works at Dianella Plaza, marking a significant milestone in the centre's ongoing evolution and the delivery of our long-term vision for Dianella Centre.
The approved redevelopment plans include a new, relocated Coles supermarket anchored by a fresh food precinct, approximately 25 new or refurbished retail tenancies, improvements to customer parking and pedestrian access, upgraded centre amenities, landscaping enhancements and significant refurbishment works designed to elevate the customer experience and support the future needs of the local community.
Greenpool Capital is proud to secure this significant investment in the future of Dianella Plaza - a centre which has been a valued part of the Perth community for over 50 years as a shopping and services hub for the local community.
Greenpool’s continued vision for Dianella continues to propel this development. This milestone reflects the dedication and collaboration of our team and project partners, who have worked together to progress the project through planning and approval.
Brad Osborne, Managing Director, said the approval was an important step forward for the centre and the broader precinct.
"Dianella Plaza has been part of the local community for over 50 years and continues to play an important role as a community centre for shopping, services and everyday convenience.
This approval reflects our commitment to investing in the future of Dianella Plaza, through an enhanced retail offering, improved customer amenity and a more welcoming and connected centre environment."
With Development Approval now secured, planning for project delivery will continue, with further updates to be shared as future milestones are reached.
